What Does Each Copart Fee Actually Cover?

Gate Fee ($95)
Covers administrative processing, vehicle movement within the yard, and paperwork. Charged on every purchase — motorcycles pay $65. There is no way to waive this fee.
Buyer Fee
The main auction fee — tiered by bid amount. Secured payments (wire, debit) save you 8–12% compared to unsecured. This is always the largest single fee in any Copart purchase.
Virtual Bid Fee
Charged for all online bids placed outside a physical Copart kiosk. Kiosk Pre-Bid and Buy It Now are $0. Live bidding costs $10 more than pre-bid per tier.
Environmental Fee ($15)
A flat $15 charge covering proper disposal of fluids, hazardous materials, and parts at Copart facilities. Identical for every vehicle regardless of size or condition.
Title Handling ($20)
